In my GAF FPM floorplan, there is a timer in my freestyle view which periodically refreshes the ALV and checks if new data came in or not. But the user wants if the corresponding browser window is minimized and new record was added to the ALV, the browser window should be blinked/flashed (same like chat window flashes when sombody replies and the window is minimized in task bar) to inform the user to check the browser window for new update. Or else, the popup window should display as a separate modal browser window that will attract user attention even if user works in other tab in the browser or any other windows application.
Basically the idea is, user should able to know as soon as new record comes to notify new item arrived based on automatic periodic refresh activity in my application. Do you think any of these 2 way is possible to implement? If yes, how to do that?
