Tree uibb and BO

Hi everybody i'am new in manuplating BO and fmp ui, i have a task to create a tree that grabs data from a BO, my problem is how to configure a BO along with a tree uibb, i found some links on sap sdn but unfortunately it always end up with a dump in the application,does anyone have a great tutorial on how to create a tree that gets data from a BO.
